Campers need to bring their own lunch. Some refrigeration is provided; however, for students in the adventure or survival programs, it is best to put a cold pack in the lunch or bring a lunch that requires no refrigeration.
Campers attending morning and afternoon camps will be picked up by a staff member who will have lunch with the group in the Hang Out Zone. Occasionally, they will join with an all day camp group for this time to allow for some play time and socialization.
This varies from camp to camp. Check the summer programs tab on the website for the Summer Programs Reminder Letter to find out about the specifics for your child’s camp.
Children in all camps should bring a water bottle.
Yes, some camps do leave campus. The Summer Friends program takes a field trip each week, usually on Thursday. Adventure Friends goes canoeing once a week on the Slocum River or elsewhere for the first three weeks of that program. Details about these trips will be provided on the Monday of each week.
