How to Apply

Submit an Online Application

Create an account on Blackbaud to begin your application. You will be asked to provide your child’s name, birth date, and grade level, and then you will be directed to complete a full application.

• Students who are applying to Kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 1.
• Students who are applying to Early Childhood must be 3 years old by September 1.

Through your account, please designate a teacher/child care provider to complete a Teacher Evaluation form. When you add your child’s current teacher’s name and email address, the teacher will receive a link to a secure Teacher Evaluation form. Friends will automatically receive the evaluation once the teacher fills out the form.

Send School Records

Sign a Student Records Release Form and submit it to your child’s current school. They can send school records directly to us via digital upload, fax, or regular mail.

Schedule a Campus Visit

To schedule a personal tour of campus during your application process, please contact Peter Bidstrup, Director of Enrollment. A one-on-one campus visit gives your family the same individualized attention that your child would receive as a student at Friends.
