SUMMER Camps are going strong!

Though many of our camps are sold out, we still have room in over forty of our programs. Check out our registration portal at https://friendsacademysummerprograms.campbrainregistration.com/ to see which programs are still available. There’s still a lot of learning and fun that you can sign up for!

Did you know that our camps aren’t just for Lower School students?  We have Expedition Camps geared toward older students that are filled with device-free adventure!  Try Cycling the State, Penikese Island, or Expedition Southcoast– plenty of lifelong memories to be made during these week-long trips!

Click here to visit the Summer Programs website for more information.

On Monday, June 3, the eighth grade will host the Friends Academy Carnival for students from 8:15 am until 10:00 am. Booths are run by eighth graders and set up for all age students.

End of Year "Parties":
Students in Grades K-2 will head to Carousel Family Fun Center on Tuesday, June 4.  They will depart school at 11:30am and return by 2:30pm.

Grades 3-5 are planning on campus activities and celebrations for Tuesday, June 4, including a treat from Oxford Creamery’s Oxcart.

A friendly reminder that the last day of school for students in Early Childhood through Grade 4 is Tuesday, June 4.

Summer homework and supply lists will be posted in the next weeks. For general information about the Middle School, including Class Day information, you can always refer to the Middle School Website.

Please don’t hesitate to email or meet with Susan Yao, Head of Middle School, over the summer with any questions. We always enjoy learning more about individual students and strengthening the school-family partnership. Rising 8th grade families will receive information soon about a signup system for secondary school meetings. Have a great summer!

Admissions enjoyed a vibrant and productive year

I would like to thank parents and faculty for speaking to your friends about the value of a Friends Academy education. So many of the parents who called during the year were referred to Friends by you! Research shows that “word of mouth” is the best way to attract new families - you took this to heart. Thank you!

I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Parent Ambassador group who gave tours and talked to prospective parents and students at Open Houses and at First Wednesdays events: Leslie McKinley, Katie Goodfellow, Kristin Morrissey, Mary Van Pelt, Gillian Milligan, Deb Cooney, Bianca Hebbel, LeeAnn Bruno (mom of graduates Sal and Ray), Mark Bernardo, Patricia Hottel, Ashley Wilkinson, and Noah Kaput.

Our amazing Student Leaders and Visitor Buddies are too many to list but I send out my grateful thanks to each and every one who has helped in Admissions this year.

After Class Day, we'll be archiving this past year's photos into a 2018-2019 folder. Images will still be free to download, you'll just have to do an extra click to find them.  Click here to view.
