What is your favorite thing about working at Friends Academy? Friends Academy is a happy, welcoming place to spend every day. People treat each other with genuine kindness. I enjoy getting to know the students and my colleagues, seeing interesting projects happening in classes, learning more about educational approaches and learning differences, and helping new families discover this great community.

What do you love to do outside of school? Gardening, rowing, spending time with my family, home renovations

Do you have children who attend(ed) Friends Academy? Lincoln ’32 and Ellis ’34

Fun Fact: My background is in nonprofit and environmental communication, working previously at the Buzzards Bay Coalition. I was excited to come to Friends because of our big, beautiful campus, which helps foster a connection to the outdoors.
