Favorite Book (Children’s or Otherwise): Mayflower: A Story of Courage, Community, and War by Nathaniel Philbrick

What is your favorite thing about working at Friends Academy? I enjoy interacting with the students.

What do you love to do outside of school? I spend much of my free time volunteering with Girl Scouts of the USA. I also enjoy genealogical research and the study of American history.

Do you have children who attend(ed) Friends Academy? Georgia ‘28

Fun Fact: I am a combat veteran. Prior to coming to Friends Academy, I spent eight years in the Army National Guard. During that time, I served my country stateside as well as  overseas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
