Favorite Book (Children’s or Otherwise): I Need My Monster by Amanda Knoll. This book is a Farmhouse favorite!

What is your favorite thing about working at Friends Academy? Friends is like family. Children are able to form strong connections with teachers and peers. I love the connection between home and school; it’s such an important part of our culture. Friends provides a positive learning space to grow, thrive, and build self-confidence.

What do you love to do outside of school? I love spending time with my family! We enjoy camping and traveling to new places. I love reading, being outdoors, and creating new recipes in the kitchen!

Do you have children who attend Friends Academy? Logan ‘27 and Charlotte ‘29

Fun Fact: I am dyslexic. I value my learning difference; I think it brings some strength and creativity to my teaching.
