What is your favorite thing about working at Friends Academy? The community. Also being able to explore the outdoor campus with students.

What do you love to do outside of school? I love going for hikes and exploring new trails with my family and dog, as well as camping and traveling.

Do you have children who attend(ed) Friends Academy? Sydney ’34 and Sam ’36

Fun Fact: I’ve been lucky enough to gain experiences alongside some amazing scientists. I love bringing real-world examples to the classroom from my time in the field: as a research assistant at the Natural History Museum in London looking at fossil fish, collecting data on climate change’s impacts on the Bering Glacier in Alaska, or closer to home looking at coastal erosion on Martha’s Vineyard and exploring water quality in Buzzards Bay.
